Program Description

Event Details

Join local author Laura Kepner for a tween creative writing group. 

Kids should bring a notebook and something to write with and any story they are currently writing or have written. If they choose to read, they will have between five and ten minutes, depending on attendance. The group will go over plot, pacing, characters, and setting.

Tween Program

Guardians may choose to stay in the room with their tweens during programs or leave them with library staff. If the tween is between 8 and 10 years old, guardians must stay in the library during the program. Tweens who are 11 and 12 years old may stay in the library by themselves, according to library policy.
