Families with kids ages 0-9 are invited to kick off the summer with snacks/drinks, face painting, games, and crafts! 

A separate tween and teen kickoff event will be held later in the day, from 5-6 pm. 

Kick off summer at the library with a prehistoric adventure! Tweens and teens are invited to work together to solve puzzles, crack clues, and escape the dinosaur lab before time runs out.

Toddler Time: (Ages 19 months-3 years) Toddlers will develop early literacy skills as they participate in an interactive story time followed by parachute play and bubbles.  

Tweens and Teens can participate in a fun, easy DnD campaign. No experience necessary. Registration required. If you are signed up for Campaign A please do not sign up for this event. 

Aspiring tween writers can share their work and get tips and constructive feedback from local author Laura Kepner and their peers.  Registration required.

Preschool Story Time: (Ages 3-5 years) Enjoy books, rhymes, songs, and activities. This engaging program offers social interaction and builds reading skills. The program concludes with an age-appropriate craft activity. 

One-on-one technology tutoring covering tablets, smartphones, eReaders, Windows, and Mac.

This program is limited to 20 babies plus parents/caregivers.  Tickets will be distributed 30 minutes before the program's start.

Join staff from the Humane Society to "unpack" a pet's suitcase. Learn about each item and how it helps/pertains to different animals. The program also incorporates a movement activity and animal ambassador to meet the kids!
