Book Review: The Vagabonds: The Story of Henry Ford & Thomas Edison’s Ten-Year Road Trip

The Safety Harbor Library Foundation welcomes Char Justiss, a professional book reviewer and former history professor at Mountain View College as she presents a review of The Vagabonds: The Story of Henry Ford & Thomas Edison’s Ten-Year Road Trip, by Jeff Giunn, on Thursday, February 9, 6:30 PM at the Safety Harbor Library. Ms. Justiss focuses on the stories behind history in her engaging reviews of historical literature.

Booklist touts the book as “a fascinating slice of rarely considered American history, the story of Henry Ford and Thomas Edison whose annual summer sojourns introduced the road trip to our culture and made the automobile an essential part of modern life”.
