Program Description

Event Details

In this photography class students will have an opportunity to learn camera shooting basics, create captions about their photograph, and have one photo chosen to hang in the library.

Walking and writing are involved as we explore the area around us to inspire our stories and take photographs.

We have limited space in this class. 4 dates are available to attend. You can attend one or all!

A digital camera is required. Simple point and shoot cameras are great (min of 10 megapixels is suggested). If you don’t have a digital camera (not a phone) please contact the library when you register.

Tween Program

Tween programs are designed to promote independence. Parents whose tween are under 11 years old may enjoy the library during the program. Parents of 11 and 12-year-olds may drop off and pick up their tweens. If your tween is under 11 and needs to leave the program to use the restroom, find their grown up, etc., they must alert a library staff member and a teen volunteer will accompany them.
