Safety Harbor Public Library will be celebrating Banned Books Week with a Community Read-Out on Thursday, October 5 at 6:30 pm.
Banned Books Week October 1 – 7 is an annual event celebrating the freedom to read and focuses on removing barriers that restrict access to books. The night of the event, community members are invited to read a short passage from their favorite challenged or banned book and share why or how they connected to the title.
